Social media and beauty mogul, Patrick Starrr, partners with Luxury Brand Partners to launch his first ever makeup brand, ONE/SIZE Beauty. ONE/SIZE is built on Starrr’s mantra that “makeup is one size fits all”, creating a brand that represents inclusivity, diversity and variety.
When deciding to launch his brand ONE/SIZE Beauty, Starrr knew he needed a platform that could support high volume traffic and a team that could bring his eCommerce vision to life. Luxury Brand Partners knew that PIVOT was the right agency for the job, after having worked together to successfully launch three beauty brands prior to ONE/SIZE (IGK Hair, Smith & Cult, Elaluz).
PIVOT had to create a custom Shopify Plus web build for a new brand, featuring a phased feature release that aligned with the ONE/SIZE marketing calendar. Working with multiple people and agencies created a highly collaborative environment which resulted in additional steps to field opinions and approvals. All teams had to get on board in order to complete the project with fast moving deadlines.
Although they knew it wasn’t going to be easy, PIVOT successfully designed and developed a new cosmetics Shopify Plus site to represent the bold and juicy social media influencer Patrick Starrr.
Having worked with the LBP team before, PIVOT was thrilled to collaborate with fellow industry leaders. Cristina Szewczyk (Director, eCommerce) and Andy Scully (VP, Digital) are both extremely well versed in the online cosmetic industry which provided a deep understanding of the beauty space and top notch strategic thinking. Their knowledge about their online audience and how they like to shop was crucial for bringing everything together.
Throughout the project, PIVOT was simultaneously operating with other partners to collaborate, organize, and work through multiple iterations and changes. The tight deadlines and last-minute tweaks were all part of the influencer lifestyle and PIVOT stepped up to the challenge delivering on point and on time.
Achieving a phased feature release meant PIVOT needed to be one step ahead of the ONE/SIZE marketing schedule, making sure their code was crisp and clean so they could focus on what’s next
