Key Tasks & Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain custom Shopify Plus sites
- Custom Shopify App Development
- At least three custom Shopify themes in your portfolio
- Expert level proficiency with Slate/ThemeKit, Liquid and other Shopify tools
- Strong Knowledge of Vanilla Javascript, ES6, OOP, array functions
- Production experience with modern javascript libraries, build tools and frameworks (Vue, React, Webpack, Gulp, etc.)
- Production experience with at least one CSS pre-processor (SASS, LESS, PostCSS, etc.)
- A detailed eye towards creating pixel-perfect UI
- Experience building highly visual, professionally designed UI's for consumer brands
- Substantial experience with cross-device responsive web development techniques
- Research, install and configure various Shopify apps
- Knowledge of advanced debugging techniques and usage of browser developer tools
- An understanding of Git and command-line tools
- Actively learn and develop your skills, and help cross-train development team members
- Contribute to internal projects and code libraries
- Collaborate with other team members, clients, and partners
- Develop documentation for code, standards, and workflow
