Key Tasks & Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain custom Shopify Plus sites, apps, and integrations
- Custom Shopify Plus back-end development
- Migrate data from other ecommerce platforms to Shopify Plus in a way that is clean and effective (example re-platforming from Magento to Shopify Plus – customers, orders, products, images, gift cards, promo codes, etc.)
- Research, install, and configure various Shopify apps
- Actively learn and develop your skills, and help cross-train development team members
- Contribute to internal projects and code libraries, develop reusable snippets, and be actively involved in planning
- Collaborate with other team members, clients, and partners
- Work in a command line environment to perform automated tasks
- Update clients about project details during active projects, and help educate clients on the platform and web technology
- Develop documentation for code, standards, and workflow

Required Skills
- Deep experience with Liquid and Polaris
- Deep experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Advanced experience with React/JavaScript frameworks
- The ability to integrate the Shopify back-end with 3rd party systems like ERP (NetSuite, Full Circle), CRM, etc.
- Thorough knowledge of Node.js, and MySQL
- Several years of Shopify Plus development experience
- Basic understanding of Agile workflow and development methodologies
- Excellent documentation, research, learning, and teaching skills
- The ability to troubleshoot and solve issues individually, and collaboratively
- The ability to prioritize and accomplish tasks over multiple projects with strict deadlines
- Proficiency with Mac OS X
- Familiarity with using command line environments
- Intermediate-level knowledge of PHP & other OOP languages
- Experience with Headless Web Development
- Knowledge of AWS Infrastructure
- Thorough understanding of Shopify API and Shopify Scripts
- Experience architecting and building apps for the Shopify App store from the ground up (concept to development to production deployment)
